somber movement brings Prophet: Spider to
a close with some chilling reflections on the pain associated
with beauty. Surely you know the pain
of gazing up at the stars and their infinite splendor, knowing
all the while that you'll never reach them? Imagine
the converse; having all of the stars in heaven to yourself,
but not a soul to share them with; longing for someone--anyone--to
share your mad, breathtaking visions with, but having
only the empty space around you to reflect upon. Saturn
is darkly beautiful as it broods over the fate of an angel
trapped alone in a heaven
not so unlike hell. |
